What is the CEC? 

CEC is the County Executive Committee and is the governing body of the TCDP. It is made up of every Travis County precinct chair and the County Chair. 

Party business is conducted by CEC through monthly meetings (except in March and June in election years – when the County and State Conventions occur – and in December). 

There are also several CEC committees (and sometimes Task Forces) that help the Chair, Staff, and precinct chairs carry out party duties and initiatives. (See the TDCP FAQs for the list of current committees and contacts.) 

In addition, All-Precinct-Chair workshops can be held as needed for group interaction, team building, and/or to address major issues.
